In the Newroz of 2018, humanity is paying the price of not yet having defeated the crooked order of an archaic world.
Newroz, which is the herald of spring and of a new day, is also the fest of not bowing down to cruels.
The fight between Blacksmith Kawa and the cruel king Dehak in the legend has a universal value today as reactionarism, bigotry, money and imperialist despotism are collaborating to make people bow down. Kawa, who has been for centuries the hero of those who do not bow down to cruels, projects hope today, to all workers in their struggle for liberation from the crooked order.
Happy Newroz to Kurdish labourers who look for the light of liberty and egality in the grip of racism, reactionarism, religious sects, imperialist projects, patrons and feudal landlords who are hands in gloves with international capitalists.
Happy Newroz to all our citizens, who push aside the dark route reactionists, imperialist despots and mercenary opportunists lead them to and who search for an enlightened world instead.
Happy Newroz to the resisting citizens of Syria that has been turned into a pool of blood by imperialism and reactionarism.
Happy “new day” to workers, who struggle for a borderless and classless world and march with the slogan “we know no religious difference, no language difference, as if we were born to same mother”.
It is time on this new day to speak about new things.
It is time to gather Blacksmith Kawas under the flag of socialism, for the final battle between patrons of all nations and beliefs and workers of all countries.
Happy Newroz.
