May 9 was not just the day when peace came to the peoples; it was also the day when the superiority of socialism to capitalism as an economic and social system was proved. Since then, socialism has been the compass for peace, the brotherhood of peoples, and independence against imperialism.<\/p>\n
In the absence of socialism, the world continues to produce war, destruction, and death. The days of the pandemic, when poor laborers were brutally left to die, clearly demonstrated the urgent need for socialism.<\/p>\n
Those who created the victory 75 years ago were the Soviet people and partisans from all over Europe, those who resist fascism, the socialists, and communists.<\/p>\n
The Nazis and their collaborators are still here today. Krupp, Daimler, and others… What their current political representatives attempt to produce is an anti-communist stance by abusing the Victory Day.<\/p>\n
They attempt to discredit socialism under the name of “totalitarianism”, to erase the traces of Soviet heroes from history, to produce liberal distortions. They attempt to name Victory Day as “Europe Day” in order to ignore the Soviet Union. However, none of these will be enough to erase, from the memory of the peoples, this victory and those who achieved it with their life and labor. The compass of the peoples will be socialism again.<\/p>\n
