It is widely known that wealth, all natural resources and power are usurped by a minority. Incentives, monetary policies, public expenditures, and tax regulations all serve the interests of this minority. The cabinet and all the institutions of the government implement policies to promote the interests of this minority.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They are not impartial, not even a bit. Ban on the strike of metal workers shows their determination in fulfilling their duty to uphold and protect those interests.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is all evident.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This system of exploitation that deprives the majority of the people from the wealth created by their labor in the domestic political scenery never acts on the best interests of the peoples on international front. Economic policies, internal affairs and foreign policy are a whole, complementing each other. It would be naive to expect governments that shape industry, agriculture, trade, healthcare\u2014in short, the entire economy\u2014to prioritize the interests of our country and people in foreign policy when their primary focus is serving the profit-driven pursuits of domestic and foreign capital.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are not naive, we are working class patriots! We stand for justice, equality and overall goodness within and outside our country’s borders.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The government in Syria was overthrown by a joint operation of the US, Israel, the UK and Turkey, all acting in pursuit of different goals. This partnership handed Syria over to a jihadist organization which according to their own designation, is a “terrorist organization”.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, what are the aims of these countries?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Israel says \u201cmy security\u201d. USA says \u201cmy security\u201d. UK, as a force of habit does not talk much. But Turkey, too, says “my security”.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, what is this concept of security?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Is this security for workers of Polonez (a meat products brand) who have been resisting for months now? Is this security for the metal workers whose basic right to go on strike has been usurped? Is this security for millions upon millions of young workers overwhelmed by unemployment? Is this security for the people making minimum wage, retirees and the elderly?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No! This security is for the construction companies, for giant hegemons of food and agriculture, for the holdings of energy, in short, for the capitalists investing in the military industry, rubbing their hands in glee as the regional conflicts accelerate.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A system of exploitation firmly footed on the inequalities in home only seeks to get a better share from the inequalities on international arena. This is what’s happening in this very moment. The AKP government participated in the great regional competition with an expansionist, Ottomanist mentality and put \u201csecurity\u201d forward as a justification. But it actually is about the control over the energy resources and routes. It is about finding new areas of investment, providing cheap labor.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Will these ever serve the interests of our people?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No, never! While the capitalists have increased their profit margins during the AKP rule in Turkey, this growth has translated into poverty for the majority of the population. This new period will only bring about the exactly the same. The new opportunities in Syria and Iraq, which stimulate the appetites of the capitalists, do not benefit the vast majority of our citizens.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Anyway, a \u201cgrowth\u201d based on the plunder and pillage of other countries contradicts our political and moral values.<\/p>\n

We are working class patriots, we only fight against imperialist plunder and pillage of countries. We will expel foreign bases and military presence, NATO, multinational corporations, and their agents embedded in the media and culture.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is our duty of working class patriotism. The same duty also mandates standing against the rulers of our country doing the same to other countries.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And there is more to it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The looting and plundering of other countries is a question of great competition and conflict on both regional and global scales. The greed of our capitalist class and the Neo-Ottomanist moves are likely to have consequences that might potentially dissolve Turkey, and this
\n\u00a0<\/span>is a very real security problem. This security issue concerns us. We are obliged to defend our country. We are obliged to defend it against the capitalists blinded by the greed of profit and against the enemies of the Republic.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our country does not belong to a mere handful of moneybags. We reject their economic policies, their domestic policies, as well as their foreign policies.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have different views from the opposition, which criticizes all these policies as incompetence, ignorance and cluelessness. We take both Turkish capitalism and Neo-Ottomanist politics seriously. We cannot fight them without taking them seriously.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We stand for working class patriotism. We stand against all injustice. We will build a prosperous, modern, enlightened Turkey where we will live in unity and solidarity, in fraternity, equality and freedom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is the security concept that we embrace: Security and prosperity for our people.<\/p>\n

Lo que entendemos de seguridad<\/b><\/p>\n

Todos saben que, en Turqu\u00eda, la riqueza, los recursos, el poder y la autoridad est\u00e1n en manos de una peque\u00f1a minor\u00eda. Los incentivos, las pol\u00edticas monetarias, el gasto p\u00fablico y las regulaciones fiscales estan al servicio de esta minor\u00eda. El gabinete que forma el gobierno y todas las instituciones subordinadas implementan pol\u00edticas que benefician a los intereses de la misma minor\u00eda. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No hay neutralidad ni nada parecido. La mentalidad que proh\u00edbe las huelgas de los trabajadores metal\u00fargicos cumple exactamente con el deber de proteger y preservar a esta minor\u00eda. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Todo est\u00e1 a la vista. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No podemos pensar que un sistema de explotaci\u00f3n que empobrece a la gran mayor\u00eda del pueblo en la pol\u00edtica interna de repente act\u00fae en beneficio del pueblo en la pol\u00edtica exterior. Las pol\u00edticas econ\u00f3micas, los asuntos internos y la pol\u00edtica exterior forman un todo y se complementan mutuamente. Ser\u00eda ingenuo esperar que gobiernos que dise\u00f1an la industria, la agricultura, el comercio, el sistema de salud, en resumen, toda la econom\u00eda de acuerdo con la b\u00fasqueda de beneficios del capital nacional y extranjero, defiendan los intereses de nuestro pa\u00eds y nuestro pueblo en pol\u00edtica exterior. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nosotros no somos ingenuos, somos patriotas. Defendemos la justicia, la igualdad y lo bueno, tanto dentro como fuera del pa\u00eds. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En Siria, el gobierno fue derrocado mediante una operaci\u00f3n conjunta llevada a cabo por Estados Unidos, Israel, Inglaterra y Turqu\u00eda, que actuaron con objetivos distintos entre s\u00ed. Esta alianza ha entregado Siria a una estructura yihadista a la que incluso denominan \u201corganizaci\u00f3n terrorista\u201d. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfY cu\u00e1les son los objetivos de estos pa\u00edses? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Israel dice \u201cmi seguridad\u201d. Estados Unidos dice \u201cmi seguridad\u201d. Inglaterra, como siempre, no dice mucho. Pero Turqu\u00eda tambi\u00e9n dice \u201cmi seguridad\u201d. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfY qu\u00e9 significa esta seguridad? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfEs esta seguridad la de los trabajadores de Polonez, que llevan meses en resistencia? \u00bfEs esta seguridad la del trabajador metal\u00fargico cuyo derecho a la huelga ha sido prohibido? \u00bfEs esta seguridad la de los millones de j\u00f3venes agobiados por el desempleo? \u00bfEs esta seguridad la del trabajador que sobrevive con un salario m\u00ednimo miserable o del jubilado en situaci\u00f3n precaria? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No, esta seguridad del que hablan es la de las empresas constructoras, de las grandes empresas que se han apoderado del sector agr\u00edcola y alimentario, de los holdings que realizan enormes inversiones en el \u00e1mbito energ\u00e9tico, de los empresarios que, frot\u00e1ndose las manos ante los conflictos regionales, invierten en la industria armament\u00edstica. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Un sistema basado en la desigualdad en el plano interior, busca su parte del pastel en la desigualdad internacional. Esto es exactamente lo que est\u00e1 ocurriendo. El gobierno del AKP ha entrado en la gran competencia regional con una mentalidad expansionista y neo-otomana, justific\u00e1ndolo con la excusa de la \u201cseguridad\u201d. Sin embargo, el verdadero asunto es el control de los recursos energ\u00e9ticos y de las rutas de suministro. El tema es encontrar nuevos campos de inversi\u00f3n y asegurar mano de obra barata. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfAcaso todo esto no beneficiar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n a nuestro pueblo? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No, no lo har\u00e1. Durante el per\u00edodo del gobierno del AKP, cuando los empresarios aumentaron sus ganancias en Turqu\u00eda, ese crecimiento se devolvi\u00f3 a la mayor\u00eda de la poblaci\u00f3n en forma de pobreza. Lo mismo ocurrir\u00e1 ahora. Las nuevas oportunidades que despiertan el apetito de los empresarios en Siria e Irak no tendr\u00e1n ning\u00fan beneficio para la gran mayor\u00eda de nuestros ciudadanos. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De todas maneras, un \u201ccrecimiento\u201d basado en el saqueo y el expolio de otros pa\u00edses contradice nuestros valores pol\u00edticos y \u00e9ticos. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Somos patriotas y luchamos contra el saqueo y el expolio de nuestro pa\u00eds por parte de los imperialistas. Expulsaremos de nuestra tierra las bases militares extranjeras y la presencia militar, la OTAN, las multinacionales, los agentes infiltrados en los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n y en el \u00e1mbito cultural. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Esta es nuestra tarea patri\u00f3tica. Oponernos a que las \u00e9lites de nuestro pa\u00eds hagan lo mismo en otros pa\u00edses tambi\u00e9n forma parte de esta misma tarea. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pero esto no termina aqu\u00ed. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

El saqueo y expolio de otros pa\u00edses es una cuesti\u00f3n de las grandes rivalidades y conflictos tanto a nivel regional como global. La codicia de nuestra clase capitalista y las maniobras neo-otomanas pueden tener consecuencias que lleven a la desintegraci\u00f3n de Turqu\u00eda. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Y esto s\u00ed es un verdadero problema de seguridad. Este problema de seguridad nos concierne. Debemos defender nuestro pa\u00eds. Debemos protegerlo de los empresarios cegados por la codicia y de los enemigos de la Rep\u00fablica. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Turqu\u00eda no pertenece a un pu\u00f1ado de magnates. As\u00ed como rechazamos sus pol\u00edticas econ\u00f3micas y dom\u00e9sticas, tambi\u00e9n rechazamos su pol\u00edtica exterior. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pensamos de manera diferente a una oposici\u00f3n que critica todas estas pol\u00edticas con argumentos de incompetencia, ignorancia e ineptitud. Nos tomamos en serio tanto el capitalismo turco como las pol\u00edticas neo-otomanas. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Porque sin tomarlas en serio, no podemos luchar contra ellas. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Somos patriotas. Nos oponemos a toda injusticia. Construiremos una Turqu\u00eda desarrollada, moderna e ilustrada, donde viviremos unidos, en fraternidad, con igualdad, libertad y prosperidad. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
