{"id":24086,"date":"2024-10-30T21:36:07","date_gmt":"2024-10-30T18:36:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tkp.org.tr\/?p=24086"},"modified":"2024-10-30T21:49:52","modified_gmt":"2024-10-30T18:49:52","slug":"about-the-un-vote-for-the-embargo-against-cuba-the-blockade-is-once-again-condemned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tkp.org.tr\/en\/agenda\/about-the-un-vote-for-the-embargo-against-cuba-the-blockade-is-once-again-condemned\/","title":{"rendered":"About the UN vote on the embargo against Cuba: The blockade is condemned once again!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>To the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dear comrades,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today, in the United Nations General Assembly, the whole world once again confirmed the necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this vote, in which Moldova abstained, the USA and Israel voted against, and all other countries of the world supported Cuba, it was once again recorded that this inhumane policy against the Cuban people is a crime of genocide.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was once again shown to the US imperialism that there is no political, economic and legal justification to legitimise the blockade tyranny that prevents the development of the Cuban economy and the Cuban people from living in the prosperity and peace they deserve.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is no coincidence that the only two countries that support the blockade are the USA and Israel; the obligation of these two countries, which have turned the Middle East into a sea of blood and committed genocide against the Palestinian people, to account to humanity was once again multiplied with the immoral attitude they took in this vote.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is a victory to make 187 governments from completely different geographies of the world and from completely different political lines take this stance against the US blockade; this victory is the result of the supreme determination of the Cuban revolutionary government and the heroic resistance of the Cuban people.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We sincerely greet and congratulate the revolutionary leader of the Cuban people, the Communist Party of Cuba, the revolutionary government of Cuba and all our Cuban brothers and sisters.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This victory must be crowned with a final victory and the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba must be unconditionally lifted. Cuba must be immediately removed from the so-called \u2018list of states that support terrorism\u2019, which is used to legitimise and reinforce the blockade.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is the common responsibility of all the peoples of the world to shoulder the determination and resistance displayed by Cuba and to raise the flag of struggle against the blockade until the final victory is achieved.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Communist Party of Turkey declares once again that it stands by the Communist Party of Cuba and the Cuban people who do not bow down to the blockade and heroically defend the revolution in its 65th year and that it will fulfil its responsibility to lift the blockade.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Down with the blockade!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Long live Socialist Cuba!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Long live internationalist solidarity!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Communist Party of Turkey<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Central Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a1El bloqueo fue condenado una vez m\u00e1s!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Queridos camaradas,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En la votaci\u00f3n celebrada hoy en la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas, el mundo entero confirm\u00f3 una vez m\u00e1s la necesidad de poner fin al bloqueo econ\u00f3mico, comercial y financiero impuesto por Estados Unidos contra Cuba.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En la votaci\u00f3n hubo un voto de abstenci\u00f3n de Moldovia y dos votos en contra de Estados Unidos y Israel mientras que todo el resto de los pa\u00edses del mundo apoyaron a Cuba; cu\u00e1l mostr\u00f3 nuevamente que esta pol\u00edtica inhumana impuesta al pueblo cubano es tambi\u00e9n un crimen de genocidio.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El mundo entero ha vuelto a se\u00f1alarle al imperialismo estadounidense que no hay justificaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica, econ\u00f3mica ni jur\u00eddica para la hostilidad del bloqueo que impide el desarrollo de la econom\u00eda cubana y que el pueblo cubano viva en la prosperidad y la paz que merece.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>No es casualidad que los \u00fanicos dos pa\u00edses que apoyan el bloqueo sean Estados Unidos e Israel; la responsabilidad ante la humanidad de estos dos pa\u00edses, que convirtieron Oriente Medio en un mar de sangre y siguien cometiendo genocidio contra el pueblo palestino, se vio una vez m\u00e1s multiplicada por la actitud inmoral que adoptaron en esta votaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Es una victoria lograr que 187 gobiernos, desde varios rincones del mundo y con l\u00edneas pol\u00edticas completamente diferentes, adopten esta postura contra el bloqueo estadounidense. Esta victoria es el fruto de la determinaci\u00f3n suprema del gobierno revolucionario cubano y la heroica resistencia del pueblo cubano.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Saludamos y felicitamos sinceramente al Partido Comunista de Cuba -la vanguard\u00eda revolucionaria del pueblo cubano-, al gobierno revolucionario de Cuba y a todos nuestros hermanos cubanos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Esta victoria debe verse coronada por una victoria final y debe levantarse incondicionalmente el bloqueo econ\u00f3mico, comercial y financiero impuesto a Cuba.
