71 years ago today, on 26 July 1953, a group of young fellowsled by Fidel stormed the Moncada Barracks, one of the most fortified military centers of the Batista dictatorship, paving the way for the struggle that led the Cuban people to the revolution.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The raid ended in failure, but the courage and determination of Fidel and his comrades to defend their homeland signaled the first break with the bourgeois politics, which had become an endless deception in the hands of the rich.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

26 July was one of the most important moments that made the oppressed and exploited Cuban people, whose national dignity was trampled upon, realize that the solution lied in the will to take the fate of the country into their own hands, not in seeking the help of dirty political hucksters who shut their eyes to exploitation and imperialist dependency relations.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This attempt, accused by some of being visionary, was crowned with victory thanks to the uncompromising revolutionary quest that followed, the unwavering belief in the ability of the poor masses to wage an organized struggle, and the determined effort to mobilize their minds and consciences.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was the same courage, faith and endeavor that lit the flame of the revolution 71 years ago, that carried it to victory in 1959, and that keeps it alive today under the heaviest and most brutal imperialist attack in Cuba\u2019s history.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The US economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba constitutes the longest and most comprehensive genocidal crime in history. This crime has reached unimaginable dimensions with the inclusion of Cuba in the list of \u2018state sponsors of terrorism\u2019 fabricated by the USA.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The blockade, reinforced by Cuba\u2019s inclusion in the list of so-called \u2018state sponsors of terrorism\u2019, aims to undermine the energy production that constitutes the lifeblood of the country\u2019s economy, to sabotage agricultural production that will ensure the healthy nutrition of the people, to collapse the health system, the pride of Cuba, and to surrender the revolutionary will of the people in hunger and despair.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yet despite these attacks, the Cuban revolutionaries and the heroic Cuban people resist with the same courage, faith and effort and continue to achieve new victories.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cuba was the only country to license three different Covid-19 vaccines in the pandemic; Cuba is the country which has recently succeeded in adding its own pneumonia vaccine to the vaccination program; Cuba is the country with one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world; Cuba is the countrywhich adopted one of the world\u2019s most progressive and egalitarian family laws by referendum; Cuba is the country of young people providing education and health services in the most remote geographies of the world; Cuba is the countrywhich sent its glorious athletes to the Paris Olympics 2024 as among the top twenty countries with the highest number of Olympic medals, despite its tiny scale\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the face of this determined resistance, the struggle against the blockade is the common responsibility of all the peoples of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The genocidal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba must be lifted immediately and unconditionally. Cuba, which has the most peaceful and solidaristic government in the world, must be immediately removed from the list of so-called \u2018state sponsors ofterrorism\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Communist Party of Turkey declares that it will further strengthen and maintain its ties of friendship and solidarity with the Cuban people and the Communist Party of Cuba, who lit the fire of rebellion 71 years ago, carried it to revolution, and who, in its 65th year, are defending the revolution with great determination.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hace 71 a\u00f1os, el 26 de julio de 1953, un grupo de j\u00f3venes compa\u00f1eros encabezados por Fidel asalt\u00f3 el Cuartel Moncada, uno de los centros militares m\u00e1s fortificados de la dictadura de Batista, abriendo el camino de la lucha que llev\u00f3 al pueblo cubano a la revoluci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>El asalto no result\u00f3 en la captura del cuartel, pero el coraje y la determinaci\u00f3n de Fidel y sus compa\u00f1eros para defender su patria se\u00f1alaron la primera ruptura con la pol\u00edtica burguesa, que se hab\u00eda convertido en un interminable enga\u00f1o en manos de los ricos.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El 26 de julio fue uno de los momentos m\u00e1s importantes que hizo que el oprimido y explotado pueblo cubano, cuya dignidad nacional era pisoteada, se diera cuenta de que la soluci\u00f3n resid\u00eda en la voluntad de tomar el destino del pa\u00eds en sus propias manos, y no en buscar la ayuda de sucios mercachifles pol\u00edticos que cerraban los ojos ante la explotaci\u00f3n y las relaciones de dependencia imperialista.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Este intento, acusado por algunos de delusionismo, se vio coronado \u00faltimamente por la victoria gracias a la intransigente b\u00fasqueda revolucionaria que sigui\u00f3, a la inquebrantable creencia en la capacidad de las masas pobres para librar una lucha organizada y al decidido esfuerzo por movilizar sus mentes y conciencias.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fue el mismo coraje, fe y empe\u00f1o que encendi\u00f3 la llama de la revoluci\u00f3n hace 71 a\u00f1os, que la llev\u00f3 a la victoria en 1959 y que la mantiene viva hoy bajo el ataque imperialista m\u00e1s duro y brutal de la historia de Cuba.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El bloqueo econ\u00f3mico, comercial y financiero impuesto por Estados Unidos a Cuba constituye el crimen genocida m\u00e1s largo y completo de la historia. Este crimen ha alcanzado dimensiones inimaginables con la inclusi\u00f3n de Cuba en la lista de \u201cestados patrocinadores del terrorismo\u201d fabricada por EEUU.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El bloqueo, reforzado por la inclusi\u00f3n de Cuba en la lista de los llamados \u201cestados patrocinadores del terrorismo\u201d, tiene como objetivo socavar la producci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica que constituye la savia de la econom\u00eda del pa\u00eds, sabotear la producci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola que garantizar\u00e1 la sana alimentaci\u00f3n del pueblo, colapsar el sistema de salud, orgullo de Cuba, y rendir en el hambre y la desesperaci\u00f3n la voluntad revolucionaria del pueblo.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sin embargo, a pesar de estos ataques, los revolucionarios cubanos y el heroico pueblo cubano resisten con el mismo coraje, fe y esfuerzo y siguen logrando nuevas victorias.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cuba fue el \u00fanico pa\u00eds que autoriz\u00f3 tres vacunas diferentes contra el Covid-19 en la pandemia; Cuba es el pa\u00eds que recientemente ha logrado a\u00f1adir su propia vacuna contra la neumon\u00eda al programa de vacunaci\u00f3n; Cuba es el pa\u00eds con una de las tasas de mortalidad infantil m\u00e1s bajas del mundo; Cuba es el pa\u00eds que adopt\u00f3 por refer\u00e9ndum una de las leyes de familia m\u00e1s progresistas e igualitarias del mundo; Cuba es el pa\u00eds de los j\u00f3venes que prestan servicios de educaci\u00f3n y salud en los rincones m\u00e1s remotos del mundo; Cuba es el pa\u00eds que envi\u00f3 a sus gloriosos atletas a los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de Par\u00eds 2024 como uno de los veinte pa\u00edses con mayor n\u00famero de medallas ol\u00edmpicas, a pesar de la diminuta escala del pa\u00eds\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Frente a esta decidida resistencia, la lucha contra el bloqueo es la responsabilidad com\u00fan de todos los pueblos del mundo.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El genocida bloqueo econ\u00f3mico, comercial y financiero impuesto a Cuba debe ser levantado inmediata e incondicionalmente. Cuba, que tiene el gobierno m\u00e1s pac\u00edfico y solidario del mundo, debe ser retirada inmediatamente de la lista de los llamados \u201cestados patrocinadores del terrorismo\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El Partido Comunista de Turqu\u00eda declara que fortalecer\u00e1 y mantendr\u00e1 a\u00fan m\u00e1s sus lazos de amistad y solidaridad con el pueblo cubano y el Partido Comunista de Cuba, que encendi\u00f3 el fuego de la rebeli\u00f3n hace 71 a\u00f1os, lo llev\u00f3 a la revoluci\u00f3n y que, en su 65 aniversario, defiende la revoluci\u00f3n con gran determinaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n
