The criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States has imposed on Cuba for more than 60 years has been further tightened during the pandemic, which is having increasingly devastating effects on the country’s economy. The stifling effects of the blockade on the Cuban economy are causing profound problems in two areas in particular, energy production and food supply.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Before the eyes of the world, the Cuban people and their revolutionary will are being tamed by an energy crisis and hunger that threaten the entire economic functioning and social life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The terrible intentions of this genocidal policy, which risks condemning the population to misery in order to destroy the Cuban revolution, have once again become clear in recent days.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Cubans, justifiably frustrated by the consequences of this policy, which makes all aspects of daily life increasingly difficult, and eager to express their expectations for more effective solutions to the problems they face, have organized street demonstrations in some neighborhoods of Santiago de Cuba. These demonstrations, which the central and local representatives of the Cuban revolutionary government, as part of their responsibilities, immediately showed interest in, accompanied, listened to and developed the dialogue, transmitted and discussed the solution efforts underway, were immediately tried to distort, manipulate and turn into the occasion of an anti-revolutionary uprising by the counter-revolutionary gangs nestled in the United States. The US embassy in Havana also issued messages openly interfering in the country’s internal affairs, exposing once again the political focus behind the attempt to turn the problems into a provocation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The behavior of the U.S. embassy once again disregarded all international diplomatic rules and trends; but beyond all this, it is hypocritical and shameless. It is immoral for the U.S. government, which has clearly stated in its official documents that the objective of the blockade policy is “to push the Cuban people into misery and thus destroy the revolution”, to say that it is concerned about the human rights of the Cuban people.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The United States does not have the right to say a single word or express “concern” for the human rights of the Cuban people without abolishing this policy of genocide against the Cuban people. Anyone who ignores the depth of the blockade policy imposed on Cuba and does not raise his or her voice to put an end to this terrible policy does not have the ethical authority to make irresponsible comments and come to abbreviated conclusions about the revolutionary will of the Cuban people and government.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The social unity of the Cuban people, based on the foundations of transparency, sincerity and solidarity, is capable of finding its own peaceful solution in these difficult days.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As the Communist Party of Turkey, we condemn the immoral policies of the United States that subject the Cuban people and the Cuban revolution to a new and difficult test every day, and we express once again our conviction that Cuba will come out of this test with unity and progress, as it has done with all the struggles of the past.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Communist Party of Turkey stands with the Cuban people and its revolutionary leadership, the Communist Party of Cuba.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Down with the U.S. blockade!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Long live the unity and revolutionary will of socialist Cuba!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Long live international revolutionary solidarity!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Communist Party of Turkey<\/strong><\/p>\n The Central Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n <\/p>\n El criminal bloqueo econ\u00f3mico, comercial y financiero que los Estados Unidos impone a Cuba desde hace m\u00e1s de 60 a\u00f1os se ha endurecido a\u00fan m\u00e1s durante la pandemia, que est\u00e1 teniendo efectos cada vez m\u00e1s devastadores en la econom\u00eda del pa\u00eds. Los efectos asfixiantes del bloqueo sobre la econom\u00eda cubana est\u00e1n causando profundos problemas en dos \u00e1reas en particular, la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda y el suministro de alimentos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ante los ojos del mundo, el pueblo cubano y su voluntad revolucionaria tratan de ser domados por una crisis energ\u00e9tica y el hambre que amenazan todo el funcionamiento econ\u00f3mico y la vida social.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Las terribles intenciones de esta pol\u00edtica genocida, que pone el riesgo de condenar a la poblaci\u00f3n a la miseria para destruir la revoluci\u00f3n cubana, han vuelto a ponerse de manifiesto en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Los cubanos, justificadamente frustrados por las consecuencias de esta pol\u00edtica, que dificulta cada vez m\u00e1s todos los aspectos de la vida cotidiana, y deseosos de expresar sus expectativas de soluciones m\u00e1s eficaces a los problemas a los que se enfrentan, han organizado manifestaciones callejeras en algunos barrios de Santiago de Cuba. Estas manifestaciones, a las que los representantes centrales y locales del gobierno revolucionario cubano, como parte de sus responsabilidades, mostraron inmediatamente inter\u00e9s, acompa\u00f1aron escuchando y desarrollando el di\u00e1logo, transmitieron y discutieron los esfuerzos de soluci\u00f3n en curso, fueron inmediatamente tratadas de desvirtuar, manipular y convertir en ocasi\u00f3n de un levantamiento antirrevolucionario por las bandas contrarrevolucionarias anidadas en los Estados Unidos. La embajada de EE.UU. en La Habana tambi\u00e9n emiti\u00f3 mensajes interfiriendo abiertamente en los asuntos internos del pa\u00eds, exponiendo una vez m\u00e1s el enfoque pol\u00edtico detr\u00e1s del intento de convertir los problemas en una provocaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n El comportamiento de la embajada de los Estados Unidos una vez m\u00e1s desconoci\u00f3 todas las reglas y tendencias diplom\u00e1ticas internacionales; pero m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de todo esto, es hip\u00f3crita y descarado. Es inmoral que el gobierno de los Estados Unidos, que ha declarado claramente en sus documentos oficiales que el objetivo de la pol\u00edtica de bloqueo es “empujar al pueblo cubano a la miseria y destruir as\u00ed la revoluci\u00f3n”, diga que le preocupan los derechos humanos del pueblo cubano.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Los Estados Unidos no tiene el derecho a decir ni una palabra o expresar “preocupaci\u00f3n” por los derechos humanos del pueblo cubano sin abolir esta pol\u00edtica de genocidio contra el pueblo cubano.
