20th of October 2023<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dear comrades,<\/span><\/p>\n Four years later, we are once again in Izmir. On behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Turkey and its members, I would like to welcome you all. I hope that the 23rd International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties, which we inaugurated today, will be fruitful, sincere and productive, building upon the success of the 22nd meeting we held in Havana last year, with the great contributions of our Cuban comrades.<\/span><\/p>\n Dear comrades, dear press workers,<\/span><\/p>\n On October 7th, after the raid on Israel by Palestinian resistance fighters and the subsequently increasing Israeli aggression, the Israeli Ambassador thanked the Turkish people. What was it that we deserved this gratitude? Erdogan, who had previously thundered at Israel at every opportunity, used a very soft language this time and called for moderation. However, the Israeli ambassador was not talking about the Turkish government, but about its people. He was saying \u201cthank you\u201d because in Turkey, which is known for the widespread sympathy towards the Palestinian resistance in the country, there has been a radical increase in the number of those who stand with Israel, and even some leftist sections uttered views opposing the Palestinian resistance under the pretext of condemning Hamas.<\/span><\/p>\n First of all, I would like to salute the legitimate and righteous resistance of the Palestinian people and emphasize that we demand an immediate end to the Israeli occupation and aggression. Our meeting is just beginning, but I think there is no doubt that these words are the common attitude of all fraternal parties present here. Our revolutionary will and our hearts are with the people of Palestine.<\/span><\/p>\n Let me return to the issue of the gratitude of the Israeli Ambassador. On October 7th, a manipulative perception management operation was carried out that affected a large section of the Turkish society. In an extremely systematic manner, they overshadowed the Palestinian question, brought Hamas to the forefront and by using part real part fake images, created an impression that the question stemmed from “the slaughter of modern Israelis by barbaric jihadists”.<\/span><\/p>\n Communist Party of Turkey’s assessment of Hamas is very clear. We have no doubts concerning the ideological origins, mission, goals and international connections of this organization. Nevertheless, on 7 October, the Communist Party of Turkey quickly declared that the Palestinian resistance was legitimate and, intervened to dispel the confusion in people\u2019s minds and we were able to counter the imperialist propaganda to a certain extent.<\/span><\/p>\n Dear comrades,<\/span><\/p>\n We face two problems here. One of them is the problem related to our channels of addressing the society and the workers, which is one of the topics of our meeting agenda. In a moment, I will come to issues such as the media, the field of ideological struggle that affects the preferences of the masses, and news broadcasting, and so forth. However, right now I would like to touch upon another problem related to the developments in Palestine.<\/span><\/p>\n It is the problem of political Islam. Comrades, I will be frank, political Islam is one of the topics where there is the most widespread confusion among the communist parties. Marxism was born in Europe, it developed there. Although the Russian Revolution was in some ways a challenge to European Marxism, the Bolsheviks always had a western character. This is natural because Europe was the continent where the working class was the most developed in quantitative and qualitative terms.<\/span><\/p>\n The question of religion has not been a burning issue for Marxism as a result of centuries of struggle and reforms which undermined the influence of the church. Although in some Catholic countries the economic, ideological and political influence of the church is high, Christianity has never become the dominant political agenda for communists.<\/span><\/p>\n In the Islamic world, the situation is completely different. Political Islam and the struggle for secularism against it has been one of the most important issues. This is not a preference, but a must. Since political Islam has become an internal phenomenon all over the world, especially in Europe, it is time to discuss this issue in detail.<\/span><\/p>\n Political Islam, in all its variants, is the claim to design the society, public sphere, state and politics according to religious rules. In the face of this claim, there can be no positioning other than the defense of secularism. This is the essence of the issue. Communist parties should take into account that this issue has nothing to do with the respect for individual beliefs. For example, TKP, on the one hand, is recruiting workers with faith into its ranks, and on the other hand, it is raising the struggle for secularism in the harshest and sharpest way.<\/span><\/p>\n The struggle against political Islam is a class issue from top to bottom. Because today, political Islam has turned into an effective tool in the hands of the ruling classes not only to attack, divide or control the workers but also to gain advantage in the competition within the imperialist system.<\/span><\/p>\n When its class-based characteristics is missed, in Europe and North America, political Islam is either viewed with an orientalist approach as “an anti-imperialist, even revolutionary revolt of the backward world”, or, as in the case of ISIS, as a medieval barbarism.<\/span><\/p>\n I regret to say that both approaches lead us to mistakes. It must be recognized that political Islam is an important reality of the modern world, it is fundamentally a class phenomenon and a problem that cannot be overcome by romanticism or feelings of terror.<\/span><\/p>\n We will not allow the Palestinian resistance to be reduced to Hamas. But we need to answer the question why religion has become decisive in social dynamics of the Islamic world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Comrades, the regression in the Middle East is ultimately due to the same reason as the decline of the working-class movement in the rest of the world today. This reason can be summarized as the abandonment of the class positions and the perspective of revolution. One of the most important, if not the only, reasons for the rise of right-wing populism or the far right in Europe today is the gaps left by the left. Capitalism constantly generates problems that require radical responses. The same mechanism is also at work in the Middle East, which has a very different historical, cultural and political background. Politics does not tolerate any gaps. The truth is that they are stealing the anger of the poor and they are stealing it from us.<\/span><\/p>\n We cannot accept this. The moment we put aside the actuality of the revolution; we commit mistakes. Anti-US positions without the goal of socialism leads us to consider political Islam or the so-called national bourgeoisies as allies; putting democracy before socialism often leads us to co-operate with the US or the EU or other bourgeois forces. This is a vicious circle.<\/span><\/p>\n This vicious circle traps us in Europe, Latin America or North America as much as it does in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Egypt or Palestine.<\/span><\/p>\n These traps are so effective that some of the forces that openly and physically, not only ideologically, collaborate with the USA are treated as “national liberation movements”, and Erdogan, the leader who represents a 20-year darkness for the working class of Turkey, labeled as “anti-imperialist”.<\/span><\/p>\n However, Marxism-Leninism rejects such fragmented approaches. Yes, there are complex, multi-layered dynamics in today’s world. But when we put the class contradiction at the core, when we act with the presupposition that there can be no strategic orientation other than a socialist revolutionary perspective in the 21st century, when we close the door to any temporary or permanent cooperation with the bourgeois class, when we take an unambiguous and clear position on secularism and anti-imperialism, the communist movement will eventually be strengthened in the international arena and even become a hegemonic power. This is our point of view.<\/span><\/p>\n Dear comrades,<\/span><\/p>\n We think that we have a similar problem on the war in Ukraine today. We are aware that this issue has created deep splits among the communist parties and as the host party we do not intend to focus on these splits nor widen them. Our party has already shared its views with you and the public through statements, signatures, and contributions to other joint texts.<\/span><\/p>\n On the other hand, I have to sincerely say that in a region where socialism has marked an entire century not only as a strong option but also as a real process of social construction, we are unhappy with the fact that the positions of the communists today are stuck in the national rather than the class-centered position.<\/span><\/p>\n Dear comrades,<\/span><\/p>\n Of course, this does not mean that we over-simplify the problems. We are facing complex problems all over the world. This complexity requires a principled, revolutionary stance as well as political mastery. But there is only one thing we know: Communists must act by putting their historical mission at the core: The struggle for democracy, peace, independence, anti-imperialism only gains meaning when it is linked to that specific historical mission. This issue cannot be postponed to a period when more favorable conditions would emerge. In this context, we need to remember that more favorable conditions will never come.<\/span><\/p>\n The slogan, \u201csocialism or barbarism\u201d was very meaningful a hundred years ago. A hundred years later, we cannot allow barbarism to stand as the only option, without an alternative. Capitalism is barbarism in all its forms and in absolute terms, and any strategy aimed at gaining positions within capitalism is doomed to failure. The only effective strategy today is the perspective of socialist revolution and any positions and current gains must be defined in accordance with that strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n In this way we can break free from the shadow of bourgeois parliamentarism or nationalism or political Islam or EU funds or middle-class ideology. In this way, the humanity will not have to choose between Biden vs. Trump, Hamas vs. Zionism, Zelenskiy vs. Putin, the Mullah regime vs. the USA, Erdo\u011fan vs. the pro-Soros bourgeois opposition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Comrades,<\/span><\/p>\n It would be unjust to attribute the decline in international responses to the decades of Israeli atrocities in Palestine exclusively to the reactionary ideological and political character of Hamas, which is well known to those in these parts of the world. Communists need to ponder more about the channels of information where speed and impact are increasingly important. In this respect, lagging behind has had and will continue to have great costs. We must recognize that one of the important reasons why we have difficulties in building a revolutionary strategy today is the enormous superiority of capitalism in the international arena in the ability of managing people\u2019s perceptions.<\/span><\/p>\n Although our main weapon against this superiority is the organization of the working class, it is obvious that we are putting more and more numbers of young workers at the mercy of social media, Netflix and similar platforms, influencers and the popular culture.<\/span><\/p>\n We are talking about a constraint that reduces us to a bystander at all critical junctures. We experienced this during the wars in Yugoslavia and Iraq, then in Libya and especially in Syria, where they justified military interventions with contents produced in centers set up by the British in Istanbul and elsewhere. Today there is an open and disgusting attack on communism by the Ukrainian government and the US and NATO behind it. Anti-communism is also being perpetuated in Russia with very subtle methods. For example, in almost all of the films and TV series on the Second World War produced in Russia with the cooperation or support by the state institutions, military officials are portrayed as heroes, whereas party leaders or commissars are portrayed as selfish, cruel and abusive. We must recognize that this is more effective than open and crude anti-communism.<\/span><\/p>\n We can also give numerous examples from Turkey. We have to overcome the discrediting of communism by making it a strong alternative again, by getting rid of the uncanny shadows cast over it, by taking the information wars seriously, and by recognizing its relationship with intelligence, with our language, with our cultural production.<\/span><\/p>\n This problem is a priority issue and requires allocation of resources. This problem cannot be solved, neither by surrendering to new channels nor by resorting to cumbersome and archaic methods. This problem cannot be solved by efforts within our individual countries either, it has an international dimension. On this issue, TKP has preparations on a number of platforms and will share them with the parties that are interested in the issue and with whom we share a common perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n Comrades,<\/span><\/p>\n On 6 February, Turkey experienced a major earthquake that also affected Syria. Tens of thousands of our citizens died and some cities were almost completely destroyed. Immediately after the earthquake, TKP organized significant solidarity across the country, sending teams to the most affected settlements. In a way that the bourgeois media could not ignore, our party did and continues to do what the state should have done. Then an election took place and TKP received votes that were incomparably lower than its political influence not only at national level but also in the region of the earthquake. So much so that some forces other than us in the media accused the people of “disloyalty”.<\/span><\/p>\n TKP, on the other hand, continued its work without any reproach. With patience and in line with its own strategy, it continued to organize in working-class neighborhoods dominated by conservative ideologies, and opened District houses and party offices. We acted and continue to act patiently, knowing that the fact that the impact we have created does not translate into votes is due to the working people\u2019s quest for and expectation of “immediate solutions”. We would not exchange our organized power and political influence for millions of votes. This organization and influence sometimes do turn into votes and sometimes do not. But we want you to make sure of the following: After 80 years-ban, TKP has become an important reality of this country at the end of 20 years of struggle and we are continuing on our way.<\/span><\/p>\n Turkey is a country with a lot of difficulties for us. While our country, which has been taken as the outpost of US imperialism for years, maintains this characteristic, it is also gaining an imperial, neo-ottomanist character as a product of the expansionist needs of the rapidly strengthening Turkish bourgeoisie. The goals such as \u201cdemocracy first\u201d, \u201cthe Kurdish question first\u201d, \u201cthe end of US dependence first\u201d, \u201cthe defeat of political Islam first\u201d, are all goals that cancel each other and hinder the independent development of the working-class movement. Moreover, we are witnessing once again the intensifying efforts to declare the Republic of Turkey, which was founded hundred years ago as an element of the revolutionary front, as the outcome of a bourgeois revolution, illegitimate. TKP is making efforts to carry the Republican heritage of the country to socialism on a completely anti-capitalist axis.<\/span><\/p>\n From now on, any radical change in Turkey will have only but a socialist character. We are certain of this. The cost of our unpreparedness when the conditions are ripe would be the victory of the counter-revolution. The history of Turkey is, in a way, a history of counterrevolutions; yet we also interpret this as a \u201cgestation of the revolution\u201d and we continue our struggle in line with our historical mission.<\/span><\/p>\n With the excitement of and hopes for this struggle, we friendly, fraternally, comradely greet you and warmly welcome you.<\/span><\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n Discurso inaugural del secretario general del TKP, Kemal Okuyan, en nombre del Comit\u00e9 Central del TKP<\/b><\/p>\n 20 de octubre de 2023<\/span><\/p>\n Estimados camaradas,<\/span><\/p>\n Cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, nos encontramos de nuevo en Esmirna. En nombre del Comit\u00e9 Central y los miembros del Partido Comunista de Turqu\u00eda, quiero darles la bienvenida a todos. Espero que el XXIII Encuentro Internacional de Partidos Comunistas y Obreros, que inauguramos hoy, sea fruct\u00edfero, sincero y productivo, tras el XXII encuentro que dejamos atr\u00e1s con \u00e9xito en La Habana el a\u00f1o pasado, gracias a las grandes aportaciones de nuestros camaradas cubanos.<\/span><\/p>\n Queridos camaradas, queridos trabajadores de la prensa,<\/span><\/p>\n El 7 de octubre, tras el asalto a Israel por parte de los combatientes de la resistencia palestina y el posterior aumento de la agresi\u00f3n israel\u00ed que una vez m\u00e1s se ha intensificado, el embajador israel\u00ed dio las gracias al pueblo turco. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 hemos merecido este agradecimiento? Erdogan, que anteriormente hab\u00eda atronado contra Israel en cada oportunidad, utiliz\u00f3 esta vez un lenguaje muy suave invitando las partes a calmarse. Sin embargo, el embajador israel\u00ed no hablaba del gobierno turco, sino de su pueblo. Dec\u00eda “gracias” porque en Turqu\u00eda, que es conocida por la simpat\u00eda generalizada hacia la resistencia palestina en el pa\u00eds, ha aumentado radicalmente el n\u00famero de los que opinaron a favor de Israel, y algunos sectores de izquierda han hecho evaluaciones contra la resistencia palestina con la excusa de Ham\u00e1s.<\/span><\/p>\n En primer lugar, quisiera saludar la leg\u00edtima y justa resistencia del pueblo palestino y subrayar que exigimos el fin inmediato de la ocupaci\u00f3n y la agresi\u00f3n israel\u00ed. Nuestra reuni\u00f3n reci\u00e9n se est\u00e1 comenzando; no obstante, creo que no cabe duda de que estas palabras representan la postura com\u00fan de todas las partes fraternas presentes aqu\u00ed. Nuestra voluntad revolucionaria y nuestros corazones est\u00e1n con el pueblo de Palestina.<\/span><\/p>\n Perm\u00edtanme volver a la cuesti\u00f3n de la gratitud del embajador israel\u00ed. El 7 de octubre se llev\u00f3 a cabo una operaci\u00f3n de manipulaci\u00f3n que afect\u00f3 a un amplio sector de la sociedad turca. De forma muy sistem\u00e1tica, se ha hecho olvidar la cuesti\u00f3n palestina, se puso a Ham\u00e1s en primer plano y se cre\u00f3 la impresi\u00f3n, a trav\u00e9s de algunas im\u00e1genes, unas reales y otras falsas, de que la cuesti\u00f3n era de “los yihadistas b\u00e1rbaros que matan a los israel\u00edes modernos”.<\/span><\/p>\n La valoraci\u00f3n del Partido Comunista de Turqu\u00eda sobre Ham\u00e1s es muy clara. No tenemos dudas sobre los or\u00edgenes ideol\u00f3gicos, la misi\u00f3n, los objetivos y los v\u00ednculos internacionales de esta organizaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, el 7 de octubre, el Partido Comunista de Turqu\u00eda declar\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente que era leg\u00edtima la resistencia palestina, interviniendo en la confusi\u00f3n de la opini\u00f3n p\u00fablica, pudimos retroceder hasta cierto punto la propaganda imperialista.<\/span><\/p>\n Estimados camaradas,<\/span><\/p>\n Aqu\u00ed nos enfrentamos a dos problemas. Uno de ellos es el problema relacionado con nuestros canales para dirigirnos a la sociedad y a los trabajadores, que es uno de los temas de nuestra reuni\u00f3n. Dentro de un momento me referir\u00e9 a cuestiones como los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, el campo de la lucha ideol\u00f3gica que afecta a las preferencias de las masas, la producci\u00f3n de noticias, etc\u00e9tera. Sin embargo, ahora me gustar\u00eda tocar otro problema relacionado con los acontecimientos en Palestina.<\/span><\/p>\n Se trata del islam pol\u00edtico. Camaradas, voy a ser franco, el islam pol\u00edtico es uno de los temas sobre el cual hay mucha confusi\u00f3n en los partidos comunistas. El marxismo naci\u00f3 en Europa, se desarroll\u00f3 all\u00ed. Aunque la Revoluci\u00f3n Rusa fue en cierto modo un desaf\u00edo al marxismo europeo, los bolcheviques siempre tuvieron un car\u00e1cter occidental. Esto es natural porque Europa era el continente donde la clase obrera estaba m\u00e1s desarrollada en t\u00e9rminos cuantitativos y cualitativos.<\/span><\/p>\n El marxismo no se enfrent\u00f3 a una cuesti\u00f3n candente de religi\u00f3n gracias a siglos de lucha y reforma, durante los cuales la influencia de la iglesia se vio seriamente socavada. Aunque en algunos pa\u00edses cat\u00f3licos la influencia econ\u00f3mica, ideol\u00f3gica y pol\u00edtica de la iglesia era elevada, el cristianismo nunca se convirti\u00f3 en una agenda pol\u00edtica dominante para los comunistas.<\/span><\/p>\n En cambio,<\/span> la situaci\u00f3n es completamente distinta en el mundo isl\u00e1mico. El islam pol\u00edtico y la lucha del laicismo contra el es uno de los puntos m\u00e1s importantes de la agenda. No se trata de una elecci\u00f3n, sino de una obligaci\u00f3n. Dado que el islam pol\u00edtico se ha convertido en un fen\u00f3meno interno en el mundo entero, principalmente en Europa, ha llegado el momento de debatir esta cuesti\u00f3n en detalle.<\/span><\/p>\n El islam pol\u00edtico, en todas sus variantes, es la pretensi\u00f3n de dise\u00f1ar la sociedad, la esfera p\u00fablica, el Estado y la pol\u00edtica seg\u00fan reglas religiosas. Frente a esta pretensi\u00f3n, no cabe otro posicionamiento que la defensa del laicismo. Esta es la esencia de la cuesti\u00f3n. Los partidos comunistas deber\u00edan tener en cuenta que la cuesti\u00f3n no est\u00e1 relacionada con el respeto a las creencias individuales de la gente. Por ejemplo, TKP, por un lado, recluta en sus filas a trabajadores creyentes y, por otro lado, plantea la lucha por el laicismo de la forma m\u00e1s dura y aguda.<\/span><\/p>\n La lucha contra el islam pol\u00edtico es una cuesti\u00f3n de clase de pies a cabeza. Porque hoy en d\u00eda, el islam pol\u00edtico se ha convertido en una herramienta eficaz en manos de las clases dominantes no s\u00f3lo para atacar, dividir o controlar a los trabajadores, sino tambi\u00e9n para ganar ventaja en la competencia dentro del sistema imperialista.<\/span><\/p>\n Dado que no se reconoce esta base de clase, en Europa y Norteam\u00e9rica, el islam pol\u00edtico o se considera con un enfoque orientalista como “una revuelta antiimperialista, incluso revolucionaria, del mundo atrasado”, o como una barbarie anacr\u00f3nica como en el caso del ISIS.<\/span><\/p>\n Lamento decir que ambos enfoques nos conducen a errores. Hay que reconocer que el islam pol\u00edtico es una realidad importante del mundo moderno, es fundamentalmente un fen\u00f3meno de clase y un problema que no puede superarse con romanticismo o sentimientos de terror.<\/span><\/p>\n No permitiremos que la resistencia palestina se reduzca a Ham\u00e1s. Pero tenemos que responder a la pregunta de por qu\u00e9 la religi\u00f3n se ha convertido determinante en la din\u00e1mica social en el mundo isl\u00e1mico.<\/span><\/p>\n Camaradas, el retroceso en Oriente Medio se debe en \u00faltima instancia a la misma raz\u00f3n que el declive del movimiento obrero en el resto del mundo actual. Esta raz\u00f3n puede resumirse como el abandono de las posiciones de clase y de la perspectiva de la revoluci\u00f3n. Una de las razones m\u00e1s importantes, si no la \u00fanica, del auge del populismo de derecha o de la extrema derecha en la Europa actual es el vac\u00edo dejado por la izquierda. El capitalismo genera constantemente problemas que requieren respuestas radicales. El mismo mecanismo funciona tambi\u00e9n en Medio Oriente, que tiene un trasfondo hist\u00f3rico, cultural y pol\u00edtico muy diferente. La pol\u00edtica no tolera ningun vac\u00edo. La verdad es que nos est\u00e1n robando la rabia de los pobres.<\/span><\/p>\n No podemos aceptarlo. En el momento en que dejamos a un lado la actualidad de la revoluci\u00f3n, cometemos errores. El antiamericanismo sin el objetivo del socialismo a menudo nos lleva a ver al Islam pol\u00edtico o a las llamadas burgues\u00edas nacionales como aliados, y anteponer la democracia al socialismo a menudo nos lleva a cooperar con EEUU o la UE u otras fuerzas burguesas. Este es un c\u00edrculo vicioso.<\/span><\/p>\n Este c\u00edrculo vicioso nos hace caer en trampa tanto en Europa, Am\u00e9rica Latina o Norteam\u00e9rica como en Iraq, Afganist\u00e1n, Ir\u00e1n, Turqu\u00eda, Egipto o Palestina.<\/span><\/p>\n Estas trampas son tan efectivas que algunas de las fuerzas que colaboran abierta y f\u00edsicamente, no solo ideol\u00f3gicamente, con EEUU son tratadas como “movimientos de liberaci\u00f3n nacional”, y Erdogan, el l\u00edder que representa una oscuridad de 20 a\u00f1os para la clase obrera de Turqu\u00eda, es etiquetado como “antiimperialista”.<\/span><\/p>\n Sin embargo, el marxismo-leninismo rechaza tales planteamientos fragmentarios. S\u00ed, existen din\u00e1micas complejas y de m\u00faltiples capas en el mundo actual. Pero si ponemos la contradicci\u00f3n de clase en el centro, si actuamos con la presuposici\u00f3n de que no puede haber otra orientaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica que una perspectiva revolucionaria socialista en el siglo XXI, si cerramos la puerta a cualquier cooperaci\u00f3n temporal o permanente con la clase burguesa, si adoptemos una posici\u00f3n inequ\u00edvoca y clara sobre el laicismo y el antiimperialismo, el movimiento comunista se fortalecer\u00e1 eventualmente en la arena internacional y podr\u00e1 incluso convertirse en una potencia hegem\u00f3nica. Este es nuestro punto de vista.<\/span><\/p>\n Estimados camaradas,<\/span><\/p>\n Creemos que hoy tenemos un problema similar sobre la guerra en Ucrania. Somos conscientes de que esta cuesti\u00f3n ha creado profundas divisiones entre los partidos comunistas y como partido anfitri\u00f3n no pretendemos centrarnos en estas divisiones ni ampliarlas en esta inauguraci\u00f3n. Nuestro partido ya ha compartido sus puntos de vista con ustedes y con el p\u00fablico a trav\u00e9s de declaraciones, firmas y contribuciones a algunos textos comunes.<\/span><\/p>\n Por otra parte, tengo que decir sinceramente que en una regi\u00f3n en la que el socialismo ha marcado todo un siglo no s\u00f3lo como una opci\u00f3n fuerte sino tambi\u00e9n como un proceso real de constituci\u00f3n social, nos incomoda el hecho de que los comunistas est\u00e9n hoy estancados en una posici\u00f3n nacional m\u00e1s que en una posici\u00f3n de clase.<\/span><\/p>\n Estimados camaradas,<\/span><\/p>\n Por supuesto, esto no significa que estemos simplificando los problemas. Nos enfrentamos a problemas complejos en todo el mundo. Esta complejidad requiere una postura revolucionaria y de principios, as\u00ed como un dominio pol\u00edtico. Pero s\u00f3lo sabemos una cosa: Los comunistas deben actuar poniendo en el centro su misi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica: La lucha por la democracia, la paz, la independencia, el antiimperialismo s\u00f3lo adquiere sentido cuando se vincula a esa misi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica espec\u00edfica. Esta cuesti\u00f3n no puede posponerse a un per\u00edodo en el que se den condiciones m\u00e1s favorables. En este contexto, debemos saber que nunca habr\u00e1 condiciones m\u00e1s favorables.<\/span><\/p>\n El lema “o socialismo o barbarie” ten\u00eda mucho sentido hace cien a\u00f1os. Cien a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, no podemos permitir que la barbarie siga sin alternativa, como \u00fanica opci\u00f3n. El capitalismo en todas sus formas y en t\u00e9rminos absolutos es la barbarie, y cualquier estrategia encaminada a ganar posiciones dentro del capitalismo est\u00e1 condenada al fracaso. La \u00fanica estrategia v\u00e1lida hoy es la perspectiva de la revoluci\u00f3n socialista y cualquier posici\u00f3n y conquista actual debe definirse de acuerdo con esa estrategia.<\/span><\/p>\n De esta manera podremos liberarnos de la sombra del parlamentarismo burgu\u00e9s o del nacionalismo o del islam pol\u00edtico o de los fondos de la UE o de la ideolog\u00eda de la clase media. De esta manera, la humanidad no tendr\u00e1 que elegir entre Biden vs. Trump, Ham\u00e1s vs. el sionismo, Zelenskiy vs. Putin, el r\u00e9gimen de los mul\u00e1s vs. EEUU, Erdo\u011fan vs. la oposici\u00f3n burguesa pro Soros.<\/span><\/p>\n Camaradas,<\/span><\/p>\n Ser\u00eda un error atribuir el declive de las respuestas internacionales a las d\u00e9cadas de atrocidades israel\u00edes en Palestina solo al car\u00e1cter ideol\u00f3gico y pol\u00edtico reaccionario de Ham\u00e1s, bien conocido por los de esta parte del mundo. Los comunistas deben ponderar m\u00e1s sobre los canales de informaci\u00f3n, en los que la rapidez y el impacto son cada vez m\u00e1s importantes. A este respecto, nuestro retraso ha tenido y seguir\u00e1 teniendo grandes costes. Debemos reconocer que una de las razones importantes por las que hoy tenemos dificultades para construir una estrategia revolucionaria es la enorme superioridad del capitalismo en la arena internacional en la capacidad de manipular las percepciones de la gente.<\/span><\/p>\n Aunque nuestra principal arma contra esta superioridad es la organizaci\u00f3n de la clase obrera, es obvio que cada vez ponemos a m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes trabajadores a merced de las redes sociales, Netflix y plataformas similares, los influyentes y la cultura popular.<\/span><\/p>\n Hablamos de una limitaci\u00f3n que nos reduce a espectadores en todas las coyunturas cr\u00edticas. Lo vivimos en las guerras en Yugoslavia y en Irak, luego en Libia y sobre todo en Siria, donde justificaron intervenciones militares con contenidos elaborados en centros creados por los brit\u00e1nicos en Estambul y otros lugares. Hoy en d\u00eda hay un ataque abierto y repugnante contra el comunismo por parte del gobierno ucraniano y los EE.UU. y la OTAN detr\u00e1s de \u00e9l. Pero el anticomunismo tambi\u00e9n se perpet\u00faa en Rusia con m\u00e9todos muy sutiles. Por ejemplo, en casi todas las pel\u00edculas y series de televisi\u00f3n sobre la Segunda Guerra Mundial realizadas en Rusia con la cooperaci\u00f3n o el apoyo de instituciones estatales, los oficiales militares son representados como h\u00e9roes, mientras que los l\u00edderes del partido o los comisarios son representados como ego\u00edstas, crueles y abusivos. Debemos reconocer que esto es m\u00e1s eficaz que el anticomunismo abierto y crudo.<\/span><\/p>\n Podemos dar numerosos ejemplos de Turqu\u00eda tambi\u00e9n. Tenemos que superar el descr\u00e9dito del comunismo convirti\u00e9ndolo de nuevo en una alternativa fuerte, eliminando las extra\u00f1as sombras que se proyectan sobre \u00e9l, tom\u00e1ndonos en serio las guerras de la informaci\u00f3n, conociendo su relaci\u00f3n con la inteligencia, con nuestra lengua, con nuestra producci\u00f3n cultural.<\/span><\/p>\n Este problema es prioritario y requiere la asignaci\u00f3n de recursos. Este problema no puede resolverse ni entreg\u00e1ndose a nuevos canales ni recurriendo a m\u00e9todos engorrosos y arcaicos. Este problema tampoco puede resolverse con esfuerzos dentro de cada uno de nuestros pa\u00edses, tiene una dimensi\u00f3n internacional. Sobre esta cuesti\u00f3n, TKP tiene preparativos en una serie de plataformas y los compartir\u00e1 con los partidos que est\u00e9n interesadas en el tema y con las que compartamos una perspectiva com\u00fan.<\/span><\/p>\n Camaradas,<\/span><\/p>\n El 6 de febrero, Turqu\u00eda sufri\u00f3 un gran terremoto que tambi\u00e9n afect\u00f3 a Siria. Murieron decenas de miles de ciudadanos nuestros y quedaron casi completamente destruidas algunas ciudades. Inmediatamente despu\u00e9s del terremoto, TKP organiz\u00f3 gran solidaridad en todo el pa\u00eds, enviando equipos a los asentamientos m\u00e1s afectados. De una forma que los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n burgueses no pudieron ignorar, nuestro partido hizo y sigue haciendo lo que deber\u00eda hacer el Estado. Despu\u00e9s se celebraron las elecciones y TKP recibi\u00f3 unos votos incomparablemente inferiores a su influencia pol\u00edtica, no s\u00f3lo a escala nacional, sino tambi\u00e9n en la regi\u00f3n del terremoto. Tanto es as\u00ed que algunas fuerzas distintas a nosotros en los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n acusaron al pueblo de “deslealtad”.<\/span><\/p>\n TKP, por su parte, prosigui\u00f3 su labor sin ning\u00fan reproche. Con paciencia y de acuerdo con su propia estrategia, sigui\u00f3 organiz\u00e1ndose en barrios obreros dominados por ideolog\u00edas conservadoras, y abri\u00f3 casas de barrios y edificios del partido. Actuamos y seguimos actuando con paciencia, sabiendo que el hecho de que el impacto que hemos creado no se traduzca en votos se debe a que el pueblo trabajador busca y espera “soluciones inmediatas”. No cambiar\u00edamos nuestro poder organizado y nuestra influencia pol\u00edtica por millones de votos. Esta organizaci\u00f3n e influencia a veces se convierten en votos o a veces no. Pero queremos que te asegures de lo siguiente: Despu\u00e9s de 80 a\u00f1os de prohibici\u00f3n, TKP se ha convertido en una realidad importante de este pa\u00eds al final de 20 a\u00f1os de lucha y seguimos nuestro camino.<\/span><\/p>\n Turqu\u00eda es un pa\u00eds dif\u00edcil. Si bien nuestro pa\u00eds, que durante a\u00f1os ha sido tomado como la avanzadilla del imperialismo estadounidense, mantiene esta caracter\u00edstica, tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 adquiriendo un car\u00e1cter imperial y neo-otomanista como producto de las necesidades expansionistas de la burgues\u00eda turca, que se est\u00e1 fortaleciendo r\u00e1pidamente. Los objetivos como “primero la democracia”, “primero la cuesti\u00f3n kurda”, “primero el fin de la dependencia de EEUU”, “primero la derrota del islam pol\u00edtico”, son objetivos que se anulan mutuamente y obstaculizan el desarrollo independiente del movimiento obrero. Adem\u00e1s, asistimos una vez m\u00e1s a la intensificaci\u00f3n de los esfuerzos para declarar ileg\u00edtima la Rep\u00fablica de Turqu\u00eda, fundada hace cien a\u00f1os como elemento del frente revolucionario, como resultado de una revoluci\u00f3n burguesa. TKP se esfuerza por llevar la herencia republicana del pa\u00eds al socialismo sobre un eje completamente anticapitalista.<\/span><\/p>\n A partir de ahora, cualquier cambio radical en Turqu\u00eda s\u00f3lo tendr\u00e1 un car\u00e1cter socialista.
