Our pain is great. We lost our relatives, peoples, lives, neighborhoods, villages, cities. The difficulties experienced by those affected by the earthquake continue to increase.<\/p>\n
Solidarity in a multifaceted manner should and will continue, we will continue it.<\/p>\n
We will certainly lift this heavy burden that has fallen on us. Turkey’s human and material resources are sufficient to overcome these difficulties. As long as we have a good grasp of what we are faced with.<\/p>\n
The last earthquake we experienced once again and devastatingly demonstrated a clear truth:<\/p>\n
Turkey is being destroyed by market and private sector-oriented policies and religious sects or organizations.<\/p>\n
To this should be added the consecutive operations of the imperialist countries, which see Turkey as a profitable playground.<\/p>\n
For years, we said that this country needed collective ownership, secularism and patriotism. Now we are very clearly saying:<\/p>\n
Turkey needs to get rid of the current order as soon as possible and switch to a statist-planned economy, re-establish secularism and become an independent-sovereign country.<\/p>\n
Yes, this is a matter of changing the social order, this is a matter of revolution. However, we are talking about an actual and cannot-be-delayed need.<\/p>\n
Isn’t it time?<\/p>\n
A major transformation is required even for the deep wounds of the earthquake to be healed, for the debris to be removed from the destroyed cities and for our peoples to have healthy and safe housing as soon as possible. Otherwise, Turkey will turn into a hunting ground for domestic and foreign monopolies, who are rubbing their hands and greedily looking at the ruins of the earthquake.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, there are selfish, bigoted and immoral people in this country. However, the great majority glorified humanity with the earthquake, raised it up, and shared all their belongings in solidarity. This is a great opportunity for Turkey.<\/p>\n
Let’s get rid of the virus that is biting our country now.<\/p>\n
TKP appeals:<\/p>\n
If you trust and embrace the words, works and attitude of the TKP, come give us strength and join the party. Strengthen the TKP’s will to found a new Turkey.<\/p>\n
If you are not a communist, but want to say “enough” to the bosses that ruined the country, to the cults and sects that exploit people’s religious beliefs, to imperialism, and to save Turkey from their grasp, come try to find a common path with the TKP, let’s listen to each other, let’s join forces.<\/p>\n
We will raise Turkey up. We will rule Turkey on the basis of equality, recover its economy, make it an enlightened and independent country, and revive the idea of the Republic.<\/p>\n
We are ready and determined to do our part.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s abandon fights over minor causes now, let’s act with the will and assertion of founding a new country.<\/p>\n
