Dear comrades,
We share your deep sorrow caused by losses caused by the earthquake in the south of your country and express our feelings of solidarity with the Communist Party of Mexico and the fraternal Mexican people.
The deep sorrow caused by the loss of nearly 90 sisters and brothers in Mexico reminds us how socialism is an urgent necessity for humanity. This is because we know that what kills people is not earthquake but unplanned and uncontrolled housing based on capitalist greed for profit.
With its philosophy centered on human instead of rent, socialism puts not only material wealth but also science into service of society. This is why socialism is the name of the sole system that is able to prevent conversion of natural phenomena that humanity knows for thousands of years into calamities.
With this consciousness we salute the flag of socialism raised by the Communist Party of Mexico and we have no doubt that the struggle led by your party is the only way to the emancipation of the Mexican working people.
Down with capitalist barbarity!
