To the Communist Party of Turkey
Dear comrades,
The Portuguese Communist Party strongly condemns the decision of the Turkish authorities to prevent the participation of the Communist Party of Turkey as a candidate party in the elections held in Turkey on 24 June.
The PCP reaffirms the demand for the end of repressive and antidemocratic measures in Turkey and expresses its solidarity with the turkish communists as well as with other democratic and progressive forces in Turkey and their struggle to defend the rights and aspirations of workers and turkish people.
