Ukraine, Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen and Sudan…
The wars in those regions as a result of the political and military interventions carried out by the United States and Western imperialist powers in their effort to preserve and re-establish their hegemony, are increasingly becoming rehearsals for a far more extensive and major war—a world war.
Under NATO leadership, the world’s largest terrorist organization, a Europe–Russia confrontation that would also draw our country into its orbit is constantly being put on the agenda through the war in Ukraine.
While many European countries—particularly British, German and French- are preparing for such a bloody confrontation, in which tactical nuclear weapons are said to be used and many countries would become involved, the United States continues to remain the shadowy force behind this process.
On the other hand, U.S. imperialism continues to spread fire not only across this region but throughout the world.
The new period that began at the beginning of this year, with the attack on Venezuela on 3 January, has been followed by a war against Iran that has now been continuing for a full six months.
Socialist Cuba has been subjected to an uninterrupted and suffocating blockade for more than half a century.
Mexico and Greenland are likewise among the prominent targets of Trump’s aggressive assertion that “these places should belong to us.”
Meanwhile, another extremely dangerous process continues to unfold in the Asia-Pacific, which has emerged as imperialism’s principal arena of confrontation, with the aim of encircling China.
Meanwhile, in Palestine and Lebanon, the brutality of genocidal Israel is once again being intensified as Netanyahu’s electoral investment ahead of the Israeli elections.
Against this backdrop, what are the potential threats facing our country in such an international context?
The latest agreements concluded by the AKP government are in the process of completely eliminating our country’s independence and sovereignty, while turning it into an accomplice—alongside the Western imperialist powers—in the wars and bloody confrontations continuing in Iran, Ukraine and Yemen.
Unable to become a direct participant in the U.S. and Israeli aggression against Iran, the AKP government is now trying to persuade the people to accept this war through the Neo-Ottomanist “peace process,” decorated with tales of peace. The unrestrained greed of capital, expansionist imperial ambitions, the religious and sectarian reactionary character of the AKP government, and the aggression of U.S. imperialism towards the region have come together, and cries of “marching on Iran,” from both the right and the so-called left, have filled the air.
Meanwhile, once again in line with U.S. interests, the AKP government is preparing to establish a new command structure in the Bosphorus for a military coalition led by Britain and France. It is “volunteering” for NATO’s extremely dangerous military mission in the Baltic region and, at the same time, is rising to become a major supplier of some of Ukraine’s critical military needs.
Adding to this picture the Mecca Agreement recently concluded with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, our country has also been turned into a potential participant in the war against Yemen, among other conflicts, and is increasingly being drawn into armed confrontation on multiple fronts.
In short, the world, our region and our country are approaching 1 September, World Peace Day, on the eve of a bloody confrontation in every respect.
Under such circumstances, the only way to prevent our country and the world from being sacrificed to the interests of multinational monopolies is for working people to rise up.
The only way to stop these wars and prevent humanity’s future from being thrown into the fire of nuclear madness, is to put an end to the system of exploitation.
To strengthen the struggle against this system and pave the way for genuine peace, all foreign military bases in our country must be closed, Turkey must immediately withdraw from NATO, the Mecca Agreement must be annulled, and the Neo-Ottomanist ambitions of expansionism that are dragging our country into dangerous adventures must be thwarted.
For 1 September to truly become a day of peace, join the struggle against this system that breeds war and destruction!

Mientras el mundo avanza hacia una gran guerra…
Para una paz verdadera, hay que derribar este sistema
Ucrania, Irán, Palestina, Líbano, Yemen y Sudán…
Estas guerras, resultado de las intervenciones políticas y militares llevadas a cabo en distintas regiones por Estados Unidos y las potencias imperialistas occidentales, movidas por su afán de preservar y restablecer su hegemonía, se están convirtiendo cada vez más en el ensayo de una guerra mucho más amplia y de mayor envergadura: una guerra mundial.
Bajo el liderazgo de la OTAN, la mayor organización terrorista del mundo, se plantea constantemente, a través de la guerra de Ucrania, la posibilidad de un enfrentamiento entre Europa y Rusia que arrastraría también a nuestro país.
Mientras numerosos países europeos, con los imperialismos británico, alemán y francés a la cabeza, se preparan para un sangriento ajuste de cuentas de estas características —en el que, según se afirma, se emplearían armas nucleares tácticas y participarían numerosos países—, Estados Unidos continúa actuando como la fuerza en la sombra que se encuentra detrás de este proceso.
Por otro lado, el imperialismo estadounidense sigue sembrando fuego no solo en esta región, sino por todo el mundo.
Al nuevo periodo iniciado a comienzos de este año con el ataque contra Venezuela, el 3 de enero, le ha seguido la guerra contra Irán, que se prolonga ya desde hace exactamente seis meses.
Cuba socialista, uno de los países amenazados por esta agresividad, lleva más de medio siglo sometida a un bloqueo ininterrumpido y asfixiante.
México y Groenlandia figuran asimismo entre los principales objetivos de la agresiva política de Trump resumida en la idea de que «estos territorios deben ser nuestros».
Además, en Asia-Pacífico, que se perfila como el principal escenario de confrontación del imperialismo, continúa desarrollándose otro proceso extremadamente peligroso destinado a cercar a China.
En Palestina y Líbano, mientras tanto, la brutalidad del estado genocida de Israel vuelve a recrudecerse como parte de la estrategia electoral de Netanyahu de cara a las elecciones israelíes.
Ante un panorama mundial como este, ¿cuáles son las posibles amenazas para nuestro país?
Los últimos acuerdos alcanzados por el gobierno del AKP, además de acabar por completo con la independencia y la soberanía de nuestro país, están a punto de convertirlo, junto a las potencias imperialistas occidentales, en cómplice de las guerras y los sangrientos enfrentamientos que continúan en Irán, Ucrania y Yemen.
El gobierno del AKP, que no pudo participar directamente en la agresión de Estados Unidos e Israel contra Irán, trata ahora de convencer al pueblo de que participe en esta guerra mediante el «proceso (neo-otomano) de solución de la cuestión kurda», revestido de relatos sobre la paz. El hambre insaciable del capital, las ambiciones imperialistas expansionistas y el reaccionarismo religioso y sectario del gobierno del AKP se han unido a la agresividad del imperialismo estadounidense en la región, mientras desde la «derecha» y la «izquierda» resuenan por todas partes proclamas llamando a marchar contra Irán.
Por otro lado, el gobierno del AKP, una vez más en consonancia con los intereses de Estados Unidos, se prepara para poner en marcha un nuevo mando en el estrecho de Estambul para la coalición militar encabezada por el Reino Unido y Francia; se presenta como «voluntario» para participar en la extremadamente peligrosa misión militar de la OTAN en el Báltico y, al mismo tiempo, se está convirtiendo en uno de los principales proveedores de algunas de las necesidades militares críticas de Ucrania.
A este panorama se suma el Acuerdo de La Meca, firmado recientemente con Arabia Saudí y Pakistán, que convierte potencialmente a nuestro país, por ejemplo, en parte de la guerra contra Yemen. Nuestro país está siendo arrastrado cada vez en más frentes hacia conflictos armados directos.
En definitiva, el mundo, nuestra región y nuestro país reciben este 1 de septiembre, Día Mundial de la Paz, a las puertas de un sangriento enfrentamiento en todos los frentes.
Ante este panorama, la única manera de impedir que nuestro país y nuestro mundo sean sacrificados en beneficio de los monopolios internacionales pasa por que los trabajadores y los pueblos empobrecidos se levanten.
La única manera de detener estas guerras y evitar que el futuro de la humanidad sea arrojado a las llamas de la locura nuclear pasa por poner fin a la explotación.
Para intensificar la lucha contra este sistema y abrir el camino hacia una paz verdadera, deben cerrarse todas las bases extranjeras existentes en nuestro país, debemos abandonar inmediatamente la OTAN, el Acuerdo de La Meca debe ser arrojado a la basura y hay que poner fin a los sueños expansionistas neo-otomanos que arrastran a nuestro país hacia peligrosas aventuras.
¡Para que el 1 de septiembre sea verdaderamente un día de paz, luchemos contra este sistema que engendra guerra y destrucción!

Украина, Иран, Палестина, Ливан, Йемен, Судан… Пылающие в этих странах конфликты — прямое следствие политических и военных интервенций США и западных империалистов. Ради сохранения и восстановления своей гегемонии они превращают региональные войны в генеральную репетицию гораздо более масштабной, большой войны — мировой войны.
Сегодня усилиями крупнейшей в мире террористической организации, НАТО, на фоне украинского кризиса активно разыгрывается сценарий масштабной кровавой бойни между Европой и Россией. И эта бойня грозит неизбежно втянуть в себя и нашу страну.
В то время как европейские страны — ведомые, прежде всего, британским, германским и французским империализмом — готовятся к кровавой бойне, способной втянуть в себя полмира и спровоцировать применение тактического ядерного оружия, США продолжают действовать как главная теневая сила этого процесса.
Американский империализм разжигает пожар войны не только на Ближнем Востоке, но и по всему земному шару. За очередным витком эскалации, стартовавшим 3 января с нападения на Венесуэлу, последовала война против Ирана, не утихающая уже ровно полгода.
Социалистическая Куба — одна из стран, оказавшихся под угрозой этой агрессии, — уже более полувека противостоит непрерывной и удушающей блокаде.
В свою очередь, Мексика и Гренландия также входят в число главных мишеней агрессивных притязаний Трампа, открыто заявляющего: «эти территории должны принадлежать нам».
Наряду с этим в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе, который выходит на первый план как главная арена империалистической схватки, продолжает разворачиваться другой, крайне опасный процесс, направленный на окружение Китая.
А в Палестине и Ливане с новой силой набирают обороты зверства Израиля, осуществляющего геноцид — что используется как предвыборный козырь Нетаньяху накануне израильских выборов.
Каковы же тогда возможные угрозы для нашей страны на фоне этой глобальной картины?
Окончательно уничтожая независимость и суверенитет нашей страны, последние соглашения, заключенные правительством ПСР, вот-вот втянут её в продолжающиеся войны и кровавые схватки в Иране, в Украине и в Йемене на стороне западных империалистических держав.
Не сумев напрямую присоединиться к американо-израильской агрессии против Ирана, правительство ПСР теперь пытается склонить народ к этой войне посредством неоосманского «процесса урегулирования», приукрашенного сказками о мире. Неутолимый голод капитала, экспансионистские имперские амбиции и религиозно-догматическая реакция правящей ПСР слились воедино с агрессией американского империализма в регионе, и теперь со всех сторон — как от правых, так и от «левых» — несутся боевые кличи, призывающие к походу на Иран.
С другой стороны, правительство ПСР, вновь действуя в русле интересов США, готовится развернуть на Босфоре новое командование для военной коалиции, возглавляемой Великобританией и Францией, записывается «добровольцем» для участия в крайне опасной военной миссии НАТО в Прибалтике и вкупе со всем этим берет на себя роль главного поставщика для ряда важнейших военных нужд Украины.
Наша страна, дополняющая эту картину недавно заключенным с Саудовской Аравией и Пакистаном «Мекканским соглашением» и ввиду этого рискующая превратиться, к примеру, в потенциального участника войны против Йемена, втягивается в горячий конфликт во всё новых и новых точках.
Словом, мир, наш регион и наша страна встречают Всемирный день мира 1 сентября, во всех смыслах находясь на пороге кровавой бойни.
В этих суровых реалиях есть лишь один способ не дать международным монополиям принести в жертву нашу страну и весь остальной мир: трудящиеся и обездоленные народы должны подняться на борьбу.
Единственный способ остановить эти войны и не дать ввергнуть будущее человечества в огонь ядерного безумия — это покончить с эксплуатацией.
Чтобы расширить борьбу против этого порядка и проложить путь к подлинному миру, необходимо закрыть все иностранные базы в нашей стране, немедленно выйти из НАТО, выбросить на свалку «Мекканское соглашение» и положить конец неоосманским экспансионистским фантазиям, втягивающим нашу страну в опасные авантюры.
Ради того, чтобы 1 сентября действительно стало днем мира — все на борьбу против этого порядка, порождающего войну и разрушения!
