Upon the call of the Communist Party of Turkey, citizens gathered in Ankara Kuğulu Park on November 8 evening in solidarity with the Palestinian people against the bloody-handed, shameless occupiers and their supporters.
Citizens formed a chain of humanity to protest against Israel’s decades-long occupation of Palestine and the attacks that have been going on for weeks.
The Palestinian flag, which was passed from hand to hand in the chain, was hung in front of the Israeli Embassy residence.
Speaking at the demonstration, TKP Central Committee Member Ali Ufuk Arikan said: “The flag we hang in front of the murderous Israeli Embassy today is a promise. This promise is for the voice of the Palestinian people resisting against the barbarians and mass murderers. This flag is a symbol showing that the working people of this country stand with the resisting Palestinian people.”
The demonstration ended with the slogans “Murderer Israel, get out of Palestine”, “Occupiers always lose”, “Palestinian people are not alone” and “Murderer Israel, murderer USA” after the Palestinian flag was hung.
